The author discusses his interactions with various masters and Daoist priests and the debates and conversations that ensued. He also reflects on the positive and negative aspects of the master-disciple relationship, the importance of not being engulfed in such relationships, and the scientific and personal challenges he faced as he immersed himself in his object of study. Additionally, the paper provides insights into contemporary practices of divination in Taiwan and China, including the use of social media platforms for these practices.
