PENGARUH PEMBERIAN CINCAU HIJAU TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PENDERITA HIPERTENSI RINGAN
Hypertension or "high blood pressure" disease is a condition in which a person experiences a gentle or sudden (acute) increase in blood pressure. Persistent hypertension (high blood pressure that does not decrease) is a risk factor for stroke, coronary heart disease (CHD), heart failure, kidney failure, and arterial aneurysms (blood vessel disease). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving green grass jelly on changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients at the Sritejokencono Village Health Center, Kotagajah District, Central Lampung Regency in 2019. This study used pre experimental designs. The form of design used is one group pretest postest. The number of samples in this study were 52 respondents, the sampling technique used in this study was Perposive Sampling. The independent variable in this study was the provision of green grass jelly. The dependent variable is a decrease in blood pressure. Data analysis was performed using a two unpaired non-parametric statistical test, namely the matched pair Wilcoxon test. The results of the Wilcoxon matched pair rank test with a p-value of 0.0001 <0.05, this indicates that Ho is rejected. So that it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average pre-test and post-test diastolic blood pressure in PKM Sritejokencono, Kota Gajah, Central Lampung District. It is hoped that the community can take advantage of plants found around their homes, such as green grass jelly leaves to reduce high blood pressure.
