It has aimed to establish how the writers of English poetry of the Romantic period highlight the value of night and images of nature involved in creating this value, while also realising the importance of night in life, according to the poems examined in this study. Three poems of the English poetry of the Romantic period (1757–1822), were used as data for the current study. The poems were analysed quantitatively – the occurrence of the expressions, words and phrases highlighting the value of night were recorded. Results showed that the poets highlight the value of night as an image of nature. The Value of Night in English Poetry of The Romantic Period (1757-1822)
