We can borrow one image 's color characteristics from another. In this paper we investigate an advanced algorithm for transferring color. A combined clustering method is introduced to find the match areas between two images. Subtractive clustering is used with FCM clustering to prevent the latter from falling into local optimum solution and minimize the amount of human labor in finding the number of clustering. We show that this technique can be successfully applied to the adaptive color transferring and speed up the process.
