Based on the results of the author's observations at Seruawan State Elementary School, Kairatu District, which describes the condition of the existence of physical education teachers at the school, namely the teacher only uses existing facilities, in the process of learning activities such as the long jump squatting style the teacher only uses a pedestal board as a learning medium before utilizing or using learning media that can support the achievement of the learning process such as cardboard, used motorbike tires, balloons, cones and raffia rope. As well as in general the delivery of material given to elementary school-age children is the same as the material given to adults. From the results of pre-action observations conducted in July, odd semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year, students have not been able to practice long jump properly. The approach that can be taken to overcome problems in long jump learning is through modification of learning media. Teachers are stimulated to be able to create innovative forms of learning assisted by modifications of learning media in the learning process in the form of Kasrdus media. Therefore it is necessary to have an approach to improve learning in the squat style long jump, especially in the aspect of repulsion in fifth grade students of Seruawan State Elementary School, Kairatu District.
