Advances in magnetic pulse compression for copper vapor lasers
The effect of copper vapor laser load on a magnetic compressor exciter is discussed. The load produces a back-current which heavily stresses the switch. It is shown that these stresses can be significantly relieved by changing the capacitors in the laser charging circuit.<>
