We consider the calculation of the error probability in the process of deciding on the existence of the optical infrared beam between the infrared transmitter and receiver. The error probability is calculated in the function of: (a) the ambient illumination simulated by the reflector placed a certain distance in front of the center of the touch interface; (b) window functions implemented in the algorithm for processing of the touch signal.
