Research on the current situation of Taiwan's travel agencies

On January 18, 2019, the Tourism News issued by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Communications announced that during the period from June 29, 2018 to January 17, 2019, there were 8 licenses for the travel agencies and 30 applicants for dismissal. However, looking at the development of the current tourism industry, it has become the core and trend of economic development in all countries of the world. The Taiwan government has no exceptions. The tourism industry is listed as one of the six key policy policies. The travel agencies has a leading position in the development of the tourism industry. Although the operating companies all face the normal phenomenon of setting up and closing down, the travel agencies has such a high ratio of companies in just half a year, facing the fate of closure, which may not be a single industry. The normal phenomenon, whether serious people will affect other enterprises, and the chain reaction of social problems, must be carefully ignored and dealt with. After discovering this abnormal situation from this tourism news, the researcher has aroused the research motive. He is scheduled to give research on the current status of the travel agencies, hope to find the problem, and make a conclusion and suggestion report, in order to make reference to the official academic research community. This study mainly uses the methods of individual interviews and statistical analysis methods to access a number of relevant public associations and key players in business operations. In order to ensure the correctness of the research report, the interviewees operate in northern and central Taiwan. In the southern and other regions, companies include large, medium and small companies. The categories include sales and direct sales. The researchers first asked the respondents to do basic personal information and current status of the travel agencies. The respondents will answer the questions in an open-ended manner, and use the exploration method for the content of the reply, and then conduct more in-depth interviews. The researcher gave the recording and verbatim writing of the text of the respondent's arguments. After the data was written and compiled, coded, classified, and then researched and analyzed, the research report was written.
