We developed a technique to remove the artefacts due to head motion during brain CT scanning. The motion of head was modelled as rigid body motion. We simulated the CT data of a moving phantom and recorded the motion information. The motion information was used to correct the CT data (sinogram) before reconstructing the image from it. The images reconstructed from this corrected sinogram were free of motion artefacts. This technique is expected to work successfully for the brain CT scanning.
