Developing a method to handle tradeoffs and conflicts becomes a breakthrough to acquire significant requirements which are difficult to elicit for requirements analysts. In this paper, the Extended Goal Graph (EGG) is proposed as a method for handling tradeoffs and conflicts by providing traceability between requirements analysis and system design. We developed the EGG system to support requirement definition process with the EGG.
