The proposed method provides large data hiding rate and distortion less recovery of the hidden data in it. Integer wavelet is based on lifting scheme, which provide perfect reconstruction and lossless data compression. A secret key is used for encrypt the data and it is embedded into the middle bit plane of integer wavelet coefficients in high frequency sub bands. This is used for embedding more data and provide imperceptibility requirement and robustness. Modification in the histogram can be done for preventing overflow of the grayscale image used for information hiding. PSNR is used for measuring the quality of the stego images. The obtained result show that the proposed method results in high data embedding, at the same time provide high security issues than other wavelet data hiding.
