In this paper, the main characteristics of the most common and commercial batteries, as well as the most cited batteries models in the literature are studied. Then a comparative analysis making emphasis in its qualities and applications is performed. The main idea of the paper is to provide a wide and fast view of the main characteristics together with the advantages and drawbacks of the batteries and battery models.
