Health care has become more efficient and also become more complex, with greater application of new technologies and therapies, which needs adopting with the international patient safety goals to improve the patient safety environment to simulate international competition and to increase the competitive advantages of the healthcare organizations at the national and international grades. Aim: This study was aimed to assess Nurses ′ knowledge and practice regarding the patients′ safety goals in intensive care units . Design: A descriptive exploratory design was utilized to achieve the aim of this study. Setting: The study was conducted in the ICUs at El Menofia university hospital. Sample: A convenient sample consisted of 75 nurses from both sex working in the previous settings.
