To determine the operating behavior of transformer, it is necessary to possess investigations on ageing of transformer oil paper insulation owing to thermal degradation under electrical stress. During this analysis the parameters like Breakdown Voltage (BDV), acidity, viscosity, dielectric constant and spectral response were observed for the study. An absolute Thermal-Electrical Stress-Ultraviolet (UV) visual analysis test has been administered to research the spectral response of transformer oil. A comparative analysis has additionally been created for the spectral response and thermal degradation parameters of transformer oil under the impact of electrical stress.
