The algorithm has been further refined for reduced energy consumption, higher throughput, improved stable period and therefore improved network lifetime by proposing Power-aware Aggregated SEARCH. Balancing the power requirement in the network along with local aggregation of data at the level of sensor nodes, result in significant improvement in throughput, reduced energy consumption and prolongs the lifetime of sensor network.
