Firstly, air gap flux density of HSAAPMSM with different slot width is calculated by two methods of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and analytical. By comparison, accuracy of the modeling is validated. Then, through the finite element coupling analysis, the electromagnetic force acting on the surface of the stator teeth is obtained. In addition, the space harmonic analysis of air gap flux density and electromagnetic force is carried out.
