From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a Post-Doc at the Institute of Engineering of the UNAM, and from 2010 to 2011 in the Chemical Engineering Department of the Metropolitan University (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, UAM) in Iztapalapa in Mexico City. From 2011 to 2014 he was guest professor at the Applied Mathematics and Systems Department of UAM Cuajimalpa, also located in Mexico City. Since 2014 he is working at the Chair of Automatic Control at Kiel University in Germany, where he finished the Habilitation Control engineering and control theory in December 2020.
