According to the characteristic of fuel efficiency analysis, this paper will analyze the engine power analysis, engine torque analysis, and specific fuel consumption analysis to understand the performance of biodiesel from waste oil compared with diesel. According to the characteristic of environmental impact analysis, this paper will analyze the carbon monoxide emission and hydrocarbon emission. Initially, a system simulation-domain GT-Power was selected to estimate both efficiency analysis and environmental impact analysis. A comparison between GT-POWER simulation software and actual experimental data has been analyzed to understand difference efficiency. Secondly, a 4-cylinder diesel engine has been chosen for the experiment mainly its efficiency, reliability, and availability. Finally, a speed range (1000-4000 rpm) has been selected to estimate the desired result in the described ranges. In this research, the result showed that methanol has slightly less performance than diesel because methanol was directly burned in diesel engines, and biofuel from waste oil has almost similar performance compared with diesel. A particular innovation on biofuel is from waste oil that may be used in the diesel engine considering the efficiency analysis and environmental impact analysis. The value of this research is to produce biofuel from waste oil.
