Mobile phone and computers across the globe generate gigabytes and terabytes of images necessitating platforms that can analyse and process images in real time to meet the users' demands yet most of the available database platforms lack the capability. Distributed nodes have been poised to have better performance during data image processing. This paper presents firebase framework (FIFW) to show how the use of distributed computing for image processing on mobile nodes based can provide a better solution towards image processing especially when based on an android firebase. Firebase platform provides a real time cloud based database that can store and synchronize data between devices in real time using cloud-hosted, NoSQL database.
