Processes and technologies applicable to the exploitation of non-wood forest products in the Republic of Moldova

The aim of this research is to analyze the organization of the collection and processing of non-wood forest products in the Republic of Moldova. In order to achieve the goal, the following objectives were set: characterization of NWFPs harvesters, to establish and describe the technological processes applicable to the valorization of non-wood forest products; to analyze the organization of the collection and processing of non-wood forest products. The objectives were achieved through direct observations with NWFPs harvesters by conducting the questionnaire survey. The non-probability sampling technique used is called snowball sampling.
