This paper presents a design scheme of sports video player based on Android. Through the research of the technologies of video annotation, JNI, NDK and FFmpeg, a player has been implemented to play and analyze the sports video in which annotation information has been embedded. This player can help the user to acquire the useful information from the video file conveniently, accurately and efficiently. As a consequence, the player possessed of good operability and practicality can elevate scientific training of the athletes.
