Litsea glutinosa (Lour) Maida Lakdi是一种常绿树木，属于樟科，原产于印度。在医学上，树皮被传统从业者用作镇痛、润湿和治疗腹泻和痢疾。根据我们古代学者的古代Unani经典教科书，它主要用于骨疾病，如骨折(kasar)，关节痛(Hudaar)，痛风(Naqras)，坐骨神经痛(lrqun nasa)，抗炎(Muhalil e Auram)，神经空间(Tashannunj e Asab)，神经补药(Muqavi e Asab)等。目前，多项科学研究发现其具有抗氧化、镇痛、抗炎、退热、抗微生物、抗菌、抗真菌、抗寄生虫、伤口愈合、保肝、保肾、抗不孕、抗高血糖、抗高脂血症等多种功能。
