The proposed converter, which is built upon two interleaved three-leg two-level Voltage Source Converters (VSC), allows for a substantial increase of the total output power, thus leading to a high reliable topology. Furthermore, this approach allows a strong reduction of the output voltage ripple while exhibiting excellent dependability characteristics.
