高效视频编码(High Efficiency Video Coding, HEVC)是针对H.264/AVC编码标准的改进而提出的新的视频编码标准。HEVC目前用于提高视频压缩和视频质量。然而,H.264/AVC编码视频有很多限制。为此,提出了一种新的高效的将H.264编码的视频转码为HEVC格式的方法。本文介绍了不同的视频转码方法,包括模式映射、机器学习、复杂性可扩展和背景建模。
