Analysis of control system of current source active power filter based on multi-modular phase-shifting SPWM technique
A novel current source active power filter based on a multi-modular converter with phase-shifted SPWM technique has been proposed. With this technique, the effect of equivalent high switching frequency devices has been obtained with low switching frequency devices, which is most promising in large power equipment, such as active power filters. Both mathematical models of this active power filter on AC and DC side are analyzed. On the basis of this pole-placement control on the AC side and PI control on the DC side are implemented. The above analyses are verified through simulation.
