The sum frequency generation from longitudinal modes often cause the so called 'green problem' even at low power operation [1]. Nonetheless, it has been shown that higher frequency conversion efficiency can be made possible by utilizing the interplay between second harmonic and sum frequency generation to produce periodic pulse oscillation [2].
