We have proposed a solar- wind hybrid system to produce electricity to charge the battery for electric light loads only of a train. By introducing the hybrid generation system in the train, the electrical power needed to drive the electric light loads can be mitigated. Again, the obstacles of cost for producing electricity can also be easily minimized.
