They claim that their scheme can achieve the integrity of encrypted data and aggregated data. However, by analyzing Zhang et al.’s scheme, we find that it does not achieve the data integrity they claim. An adversary can arbitrarily tamper with the encrypted data of the smart meter and the aggregated data of the aggregation gateway. Then the corresponding attacks are given.
