Guided by two theories: time allocation theory and positive theory of early retirement; while using the Early Retirement Incentives (ERIs) of the public service pension scheme as a probing tool, with probit simulations as estimation techniques on public servants’ retirement dataset (2017), results strongly support increment in the MRA from 60 to 65.
