Analyzing the Influence of HVDC Grounding Electrode and Pipeline Parameters on HVDC Interference
With the large-scale construction of HVDC transmission systems, many buried pipelines suffered from HVDC interference in recent years. Existing cases have shown that the changes in the parameters of HVDC grounding electrode and pipeline have great impact on the magnitude of HVDC interference. In this paper, a calculation model of high-voltage direct current interference electric field is constructed based on the parameter information of pipelines and grounding electrodes in actual projects. The influence of the direction and quantity of discharging current from the grounding electrode, the distance between the grounding electrode and the pipeline, and the length of the pipeline on the interference parameters of buried pipelines suffered from HVDC interference were investigated and obtained. The results show that with the increase of the grounding current of the grounding electrode, the positive and negative amplitudes of the pipeline interference potential increase, and the offset value of the pipe grounding potential is positively correlated with the grounding current of the grounding electrode; with the distance between the ground electrode and the center of the pipeline decreasing, the positive and negative amplitudes of the pipeline interference voltage increase, and the length of the pipeline interfered increases; with the length of the pipeline increases, the positive and negative amplitudes of the pipeline interference potential increase, and the length of the pipeline interfered range of influence increases.
