School sports as a means of preventing deviant behavior

Relevance. Caring for children is an important component of state social policy in many countries and an indicator of the level of development of society. This determines the interest in the theoretical and practical study of the situation of children, the realization of their rights and opportunities, which today are often labeled as a measurement of "children's well-being". Problems such as neglect of children, insufficient attention from parents or guardians, as a result, the commission of various offenses by children determine the need to look for ways to prevent such situations. The article discusses the statistics and causes of offenses committed by children and adolescents in the Sverdlovsk region, problems that require an integrated approach, possible solutions to these problems, as well as the role of school sports in the system of prevention of neglect and delinquency.  The purpose of the study: to determine the relationship between school sports and the prevention of offenses committed by minors in the Sverdlovsk region. During the research, general scientific methods were used: analysis, comparison, description.
