Meanwhile, a variety of notations of foreign geographical names coexisted such as Chinese transliteration, Korean translation, their combinations, and a whole new Korean notation in world geography and world history textbooks. 摘要

本文分析了近代18种世界地理教科书中外国地名的类型和符号。它的目的是研究各种主题,如对世界的认知,知识的运动,以及从1895年到1910年期间的地名争论。汉语和日语发音之间存在着地名上的音译之争,以及从汉语音译到与原发音相近的韩语翻译的过渡。与此同时,在世界地理和世界历史教科书中出现了汉语音译、韩文译法、韩文译法组合、全新的韩文译法等多种外国地名的写法并存。虽然本研究存在一定的局限性,但希望本研究的数据能够在今后的研究中得到有益的利用。
