Training Set Design for Smart Grids and Scada Co-Simulations
The improvements on technology brings innovation on managing electrical networks as it is in all areas. According to the regulations and restorations, most companies tries to implement Smart Grids on existing networks. Since the electrical networks spread into wide area and because of the complex behavior of the networks, in these days Smart Grids laboratories have emerged to form simulation environments for testing some scenarios and improving of the modern networks. However, high cost values for setting up such a laboratory becomes a barrier for new comers and students. In this study, we propose to establish a hardware and software model of Smart Grids that is set up with low cost equipment and allows testing many scenarios especially for training purpose.
