One of the keys to solving this problem is to encapsulate the processing logic of heterogeneous, streaming IoT data from different sources in a unified manner, generate business events of interest to the business process, and integrate them into the business process. An event-publish/subscribe mechanism-based IoTService model can integrate IoT events into business processes and enable PAIS to respond to physical world changes.
