This paper presents a multi-layers fault diagnosis method in order to achieve to judge fault components accurately and rapidly. The multi-layers fault diagnosis system is divided into switch layer diagnosis, feeder layer diagnosis and substation layer diagnosis. Using this method can not only diagnose simple and complex faults, but also judge fault type, fault phase and fault location.
