Technique for the Fabrication of a Schmidt Corrector Plate
A technique for the fabrication of a Schmidt corrector plate of 200 mm dia and having a maximum sag of 1.2 mm, suitable for use in a F/1 catadioptric optical system has been successfully evolved at IRDE. The profile of the Schmidt surface is illustrated in Fig 1.
