Nowadays wireless energy transfer becomes more and more popular as convenient way for charging electric vehicles. This article describes a method for contactless energy transmission for a small electric vehicle by using high – frequency inductive coupling between mechanically separated transformer coils. Managing the charging process is achieved by using an onboard charging meter.
