Study participants come from both private and public universities in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and the study is composed of 450 students. The survey was developed, responses were collected from postgraduate students and descriptive analysis was used for the study. The findings indicate that social identities are positively and significantly related to EI among postgraduate students to start new ventures. The results also show that entrepreneurial and business intentions are key mediators that affect the relationship between entrepreneurship orientation and business intention. These results have significant scientific and practical implications. Fostering students’ development is a priority for universities and policymakers. Entrepreneurial business intention extends an entrepreneurial sense to become an entrepreneur and influence them to start their new venture.
