COVID-19 Impact on Sri Lanka Economics

The study attempts to examine the transport behavior and mode of travelling among people during COVID-19.This analysis shows that tourist arrival completely decreased during COVID-19 by 2020 compared to 2019,and also its shows how the lock down of the country affect the tourism and foreign earnings. By studying this analysis we can understand how the travelling modes and usage of public transportation among people, and the change in their life. The analysis of impact on Sri Lanka G.D.P and employment during and before COVID-19.In this study we can see there is interruption between domestic production and distributions and restriction on import things. Understand is analysis we can say how widespread epidemic affect employment in Sri Lanka in comparison with the average impact of other south Asian Countries and also the analysis point out how countries and also the analysis point out how countries and also the country led their life. The analysis on impact on the income of Sri Lanka household, when we see the analysis before COVID-19 People lived in critical position. By looking at the income and expenditure survey. we can understand the monthly expenses of the people are very high comparing with the income citizens, urban rural, estate and many place in the country, and also we can see how the private and public sectors affect the households income of the people .When we looking are this analysis we can understand woman headed house hold income affected, and how they are facing their critical situations and according to that how they were doing their daily needs, and the steps taken by the government.
