本文报道了负载均衡算法在网络视频和音频媒体服务器上的应用。我们考虑了两种服务器架构:集中式和分布式负载平衡;五种负载平衡算法:随机、轮询、自适应竞价、扩散和状态改变广播。实验中测量了启动时间和系统距离。结果表明,分布式负载均衡的响应时间小于集中式负载均衡架构。使用更多负载信息的算法可以更好地平衡视频和音频媒体服务器的负载,但会产生更多的响应时间。
