This has been highlighted by the UK Government’s Research and Development People and Culture Strategy and the Concordat for the Career Development for Researchers as well as various initiatives by funders such as the Royal Society, the Wellcome Trust and UKRI. Within the University of Edinburgh a Research Cultures Working Group has been established and tasked with creating a Research Cultures Acton Plan for the University.
