The active pharmaceutical ingredient in these therapeutics is plasmid DNA. This work describes the approach taken to develop and characterize adsorption membranes that can be used for membrane chromatography, boosting DNA therapeutics purification by better separation efficiency, increased solute selectivity and improved productivity.
