So far, the present species is reported from northern part of India, Gadchiroli (Vidarbha) and Ichalkaranji (Kolhapur District). Ipomoea laxiflora H. J. Chowdhery & Debta (Convolvulaceae)是在Dhule、Jalgaon和Nandurbar地区发现的一种新植物，是北马哈拉斯特拉邦的一个新的分布记录。形态上，本种与三叶虫相似，在子房和蒴果上无毛而分开。到目前为止，目前的物种报告来自印度北部，Gadchiroli (Vidarbha)和Ichalkaranji (Kolhapur区)。简要介绍了柽柳的分布、保护现状，以方便田间鉴定。
