Highly efficient BaTiO3 on silicon electro-optic Mach-Zehnder modulator
A highly efficient electro-optic modulator based on a hybrid BaTiO3/silicon waveguide structure is reported. A YπL as low as 0.27 V·cm in has been achieved by rotating the waveguide structure at an optimum angle.
