Without using model transformation and bounding technique for cross terms, an improved delay-dependent stability criterion is established in terms of strict linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which ensure the system is regular, impulse free and asymptotically stable. With the proposed criteria, we are able to obtain maximum allowable delay bound (MADB) of NCSs.
