Work in progress: What do engineering students do with non-academic information as they address authentic socio-technical problems?
This paper focuses on the knowledge construction process in a technology and society course in which engineering students propose solutions to authentic socio-technical problems in India. Student definition and use of non-academic information is examined with the recommendation that documentation practices be further developed to accurately reflect community contribution.
