The mode synthesis method is used to realize the synthesis of specified pattern. Taking the ideal radiation function of the feed with the compact field of the biased single mirror as an example, an approximate radiation function is synthesized by using the Gaussian modes of different orders. The difference between the ideal radiation pattern and the synthetic pattern in the central region is less than ± 0.2dB.
