The hybrid isolator comprises a new compact uni-planar electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structure and two millimeter-wave (MMW) absorber walls. Simulated results show the effectiveness of the proposed hybrid isolator for reducing the mutual coupling level without disturbing the radiation characteristics.
