Rukzio","doi":"10.1145/2541831","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"On behalf of the organizing committee we would like to welcome you to this 9th edition of the International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Multimedia, held in Limassol, Cyprus on 1-3 December 2010. \n \nThe goal of the conference is to bring together mobile systems, ubiquitous computing and multimedia experts. This year we received 62 research paper submissions around this topic which is 10% more than in 2009. A rigorous review process was followed with each paper receiving three reviews from international experts. Based upon this process, twenty-two long and five short papers were selected to appear in these proceedings and be presented at the conference. The papers cover a range of topics related to the key issues including mobile user experience, awareness and assessment, sharing and discovering, social networking, mobile learning and edutainment, location and context, mobile media and mobile web, mobile applications and mobile interaction techniques.
