The effect of NiMo catalysts preparation method on the hydrodeoxygenation of sunflower oil
The possibility of obtaining diesel fuel components by refining sunflower oil on nickel-molybdenum catalysts, with varying synthetic methods and preliminary preparation conditions were considered. Ni and Mo based bimetallic catalysts prepared from mono- and bi-metallic precursors in sulfide form provide a hydrocarbons yield of 74.6-82.5 % containing predominantly fractions of n-alkanes (88-95%). The period of stable operation of the systems is at least 500 hours. The possibility of obtaining diesel fuel components by refining sunflower oil on nickel-molybdenum catalysts, with varying synthetic methods and preliminary preparation conditions were considered.
